Spring Cypress Stingrays Swim Team

Susan is a 4th year Stingrays Board Member, serving one year as Volunteer Coordinator and entering her second year as President.  Susan has two sons, Trey and Jacob, and joined the team in 2018.  She has been a Longwood resident since 2005 and is an Attorney in Texas.

Colette joins the board for her first year serving as Secretary. Her daughter Niya is eleven years old and will be a second year Stingray. The family has been participating in club swimming for four years. Colette has four children, is a homeschool mom and a client database manager.

Melissa Jungeblut is new to the board this year as Treasurer. This upcoming season will be her family’s 4th summer swimming. She is the mom of two Stingrays, Abigail and Madelyn, 3rd grade and Kindergarten at Covenant Academy. Melissa volunteered as tent parent and concessions setup over the years. Melissa’s family has lived in Longwood for 9 years and is a CPA.

Bryce is a four year Stingrays Board member. Bryce was a Stingrays parent in 2010-11 with his oldest child, Andrew, 23, and he rejoined the team in 2017 with Grayson, followed in 2019 by his twin sisters, Eden & Elissa. Bryce began officiating for Stingrays in 2019. He has been a Longwood resident since 2005 and is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas.

Jason is in his second year as a Stingray Board Member. Jason and his family have been active with the Stingrays since 2017. The Stefanicks have three swimmers competing, Saylor, Jack, and Hope. Jason’s wife Carrie is the reason why he decided to take on the Volunteer Coordinator role. Carrie can also be found officiating many of the Saturday meets. Jason is a Rock Creek resident and a Sales Manager for his employer.

Joyce is a 7th year Stingrays Board member. She joined the Stingrays in 2018. Joyce began her time on the Board as the Registrar in 2019 for 3 years and transitioned to Invitational Meet Lead Contact in 2022. She has a 16-year old son and a 12-year old daughter who have been swimming with Stingrays since 2018. 

Chris is a seven year Stingrays Board member. He joined the Stingrays in 2018 as the Head Timer after serving the same role with another NWAL team. Chris began his time on the Board as Volunteer Coordinator in 2018 and transitioned to At-Large in 2021. He has two teenagers who have been swimming summer league since they were five years old. Chris is a Safety Professional who served on the Board for the Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals from 2019 to 2021.
