Spring Cypress Stingrays Swim Team

Susan is a 3rd year Stingrays Board Member, serving one year as Volunteer Coordinator and entering her second year as President.  Susan has two sons, Trey and Jacob, and joined the team in 2018.  She has been a Longwood resident since 2005 and is an Attorney in Texas.

Stephanie is a 2^nd year Stingrays board member serving as secretary for both years. She has a daughter who is in 4^th grade who has been swimming with the team for 3 years. She also has two boys that are 19 and 21 that swam from 4^th grade to their senior year in high school. Stephanie has been a Longwood resident since 2020 and works for CFISD. 

Melissa Jungeblut is new to the board this year as Treasurer. This upcoming season will be her family’s 4th summer swimming. She is the mom of two Stingrays, Abigail and Madelyn, 3rd grade and Kindergarten at Covenant Academy. Melissa volunteered as tent parent and concessions setup over the years. Melissa’s family has lived in Longwood for 8 years and is a CPA.

Bryce is a 3rd year Stingrays Board member. Bryce was a Stingrays parent in 2010-11 with his oldest child, Andrew, 23, and he rejoined the team in 2017 with Grayson, followed in 2019 by his twin sisters, Eden & Elissa. Bryce began officiating for Stingrays in 2019. He has been a Longwood resident since 2005 and is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas.

Jason is in his first year as a Stingray Board Member. Jason and his family have been active with the Stingrays since 2017. The Stefanicks have three swimmers competing, Saylor, Jack, and Hope. Jason’s wife Carrie is the reason why he decided to take on the Volunteer Coordinator role. Carrie can also be found officiating many of the Saturday meets. Jason is a Rock Creek resident and a Sales Manager for his employer.

Joyce is a 6th year Stingrays Board member. She joined the Stingrays in 2018. Joyce began her time on the Board as the Registrar in 2019 for 3 years and transitioned to Invitational Meet Lead Contact in 2022. She has a 15-year old son and a 11-year old daughter who have been swimming with Stingrays since 2018. 

Chris is a 6th year Stingrays Board member. He joined the Stingrays in 2018 as the Head Timer after serving the same role with another NWAL team. Chris began his time on the Board as Volunteer Coordinator in 2018 and transitioned to At-Large in 2021. He has two teenagers who have been swimming summer league since they were five years old. Chris is a Safety Professional who served on the Board for the Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals from 2019 to 2021.

Karly is a 3rd year Stingrays Board Member, previously serving as Secretary, Registrar, and now At-Large. She has a daughter in 5th grade who swims with the team and a son who is in his freshman year at UH. She has fond memories of participating in summer swim as a youth so really enjoys watching these kiddos make their own. A Longwood resident since 2016, she is the Controller for a wholesaler of designer lighting and a CPA licensed in the great state of Texas.
