The Spring Cypress Stingrays Swim Team promotes strong kids, focusing on team spirit with healthy competition, and has a strong family partnership. Over 250 swimmers, ages 4 to 18 swim are on the Stingrays team. Parents must volunteer their time and talent to support the team and run the weekly meets. The success of the Stingrays is largely due to the collective effort of each family.
Your generosity goes directly to the needs of the team. First, we attract quality coaches for our swimmers who not only teach the fundamentals of swimming but encourage each swimmer. We continue to upgrade our meet facilities with a new timing system in 2023 and a goal to purchase new starting blocks this season. These investments help maintain the quality and longevity of our program. Corporate Sponsorships also help with annual dues, memberships, and insurance. Lastly, each season we recognize our graduating seniors who swam as a Stingray with college scholarships.
Sponsoring the Stingrays provides an opportunity to support swimmers and families in our community, while receiving maximum exposure during the upcoming summer months.
The Stingrays are a non-profit summer swim team organized in 1999 and first swimming in 2000. A member of the Northwest Aquatics League, the Stingrays practice daily from late April through the end of June. We compete with other teams in our division each Saturday. Swimmers also have the opportunity to swim at divisional meets and citywide invitational meets.
*For each $750 or greater sponsorship brought in by a family, one swim fee is waived*
